Melissa + Steven – Wedding – Oban | Port Appin, Scotland UK

Maybe it’s the 4am drowsiness that is kicking in that is making me feel introspective…

I realized earlier today, I don’t TRULY know who the people I work with.

Like, I wonder:
What was your childhood like?
Where have you been and where have you lived?
What life decision has shaped you?
Do you regret anything?
If you could tell your younger self anything, what would it be?

You all have your lives, the accumulation of experiences, fears and insecurities, failures and successes, friends and family, the small victories and the bigger picture life changing moments.

What makes you, you?

I truly believe the responses I hear are what make these photos possible.
It breathes life and emotions into them:
All the realms of life into a single moment, how do I capture all of that into an image?

If you’re wondering the logistics of things for this trip:

Edinburgh – still one of my favorite cities. There is just something quaint about the architecture and the pace of the city. Highly recommend it if you’re into the whole Harry Potter thing 🙂

Port Appin – the ceremony was held in Port Appin on a Cottage.
Dress was from BHDLN.
The decorations were all handmade by the couple and we found a spot in the backyard to have the ceremony.

Photos locations were at:
James Bond Skyfall Scene LOL
Rannoch Moor
Country Mumkins At The Artisan Cafe
St. Conan’s Kirk
Armadale Castle
Dunscaith Castle
Sligachan Old Bridge
The Fairy Pools Of Glenbrittle
