Wedding: Anderson House in Washington, DC

The wedding took place at the Larz Anderson House in Washington DC (also known as the Society of Cincinnati).
It was a beautiful September day in Washington DC.
I was able to work with the most generous and beautiful couple.

The couple decided to do a first look inside the venue and moved forward with portraits inside. Following this were family photos and the ceremony. The reception began with a dinner outdoors and moved inside for dancing .

Thank you two for sharing all your photos with me – I was super envious of all your travels, adventures, backpacking, ski, and kayak trips.
Jack, you have a great eye and I hope you continue taking photos. <3

In the spring of 1905, Anderson House was completed and took its place as one of the capital city's most fashionable mansions—a "Florentine villa in the midst of American independence."

The firm of Arthur Little and Herbert Browne of Boston designed the mansion as the winter residence of Larz Anderson, an American diplomat, and his wife, Isabel, an author and benefactress.
For more than thirty years, the couple enjoyed their Washington home as a showcase for their art collection, a backdrop for high society galas, and a home from which they explored what they considered "the most beautiful of American cities."
